About Us

Society Founders

Golf is just the beginning.

Triangle Tee Society was created for the woman who's always wanted to try golf, the woman looking for friends to play with, the busy professional who needs an excuse to unplug, and the experienced golfer who believes the game is even better when shared.

We're building a community where women feel comfortable learning, growing, laughing, and creating meaningful connections through golf.

We aren't here to compete with the amazing golf community already thriving throughout the Triangle. We're here to celebrate it. Our mission is to connect women with local instructors, courses, leagues, businesses, and events while creating unforgettable experiences of our own.

Whether you join us for your very first clinic, a casual nine holes after work, a simulator social, or simply to meet other women who love the game, you'll always have a place here.

Because this isn't about perfect swings.

It's about confidence.

Friendship.

Community.

And discovering just how much golf can enrich your life.

Triangle Tee Society — More than golf. It's a community.

Meet Angie

Hi! I'm Angie.

I grew up in Pinehurst, North Carolina, the Home of American Golf. Ironically, I didn't pick up a golf club until just a couple of years ago.

Like many women, I found the game a little intimidating at first. I didn't know where to start, worried about holding people back, and wondered if I'd ever feel comfortable on a golf course. Once I took that first step, though, everything changed.

Golf has challenged me, introduced me to incredible people, and given me a community I never expected to find.

That's why I created Triangle Tee Society.

My goal is simple: to make golf feel more approachable and to create opportunities for women to learn, play, and build genuine friendships. Whether you're brand new to the game or you've been golfing for years, I hope this becomes a place where you always feel welcome.

When I'm not organizing golf gatherings, I help clients buy and sell homes throughout the Triangle. While real estate is my career, building community has always been my passion, and Triangle Tee Society is where those two worlds come together.

I believe everyone deserves to feel like they belong, whether that's finding confidence on the golf course or finding the perfect place to call home.

I can't wait to meet you at a future gathering.

Here's to helping women find their place on the course — and helping people find their place to call home.

Meet Cheryl

Hi! I'm Cheryl.

I started playing golf about 15 years ago as a way to spend more time with my husband, Mark. I took a couple of lessons, but most of my game has been self-taught through practice, YouTube videos, and, of course, plenty of pointers from Mark — whether I asked for them or not!

A few years ago, I joined a ladies' golf league and quickly learned how intimidating the game can feel when everyone else seems to know exactly what they are doing. I may not be an expert golfer, but I truly love the game and am excited to keep learning, improving, and hopefully spending a little less time looking for my ball.

I am also still actively selling real estate, which is another passion of mine. With a background in luxury real estate, business ownership, and design, I love helping people find their perfect match in a home and a lifestyle that feels just right.

That same love of connecting people and helping them feel comfortable and included inspired me to help start this golf society. I wanted to create a fun, welcoming place where women of all skill levels can play, learn, laugh, build confidence, and make new friends.

For me, golf is about much more than the score. It is about friendship, fresh air, laughter, and enjoying the game together — one swing at a time.

Here's to new friends, fresh air, and plenty of great swings ahead.
